Therefore , to appreciate their help and hard work , our school celebrated the Workers’ day on 22nd April . All the workers were welcomed with cheers and joy. Students from different classes had put up a cultural programme in the form of a skit , a song and various dances . A game of musical chairs was also played . Meditation with yogic transmissions A meditation session was organized in the school to celebrate International Yoga Day for the students of class IX and X. The instructor was from Heartfulness organizations. The session included guided and non-guided meditation, relaxation technique etc. Some slides were shown on the importance of positive thinking which was truly motivating. A beautiful prayer session made the aura filled with peace and serenity. The students could feel the divine presence around them. Thus the sessions inspired the students to be focused and will surely help them to improve their concentration; both of which are an important aspect of a student’s life. “Thousands laid down their lives, so that our country breath this day. Never forget their sacrifice.” It was a red letter day in the history of India, when the country got freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years for us to break the shackles of slavery. People of our country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show. So did our school celebrated our 72nd Independence Day. The function commenced with a warm welcome of the Chief Guest Mr. and Mrs. Jhawar, parents of Shub Jhawar who was the Science Topper of our school, year 2017-18. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. September 5th, the birth anniversary of a great teacher and former Indian President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is remarked as Teachers’ Day nationwide. So was a programme conducted in our school to give all our worthy teachers, a tribute for their contribution in the educational world. Teachers were welcome by the youngest little ones by the flower shower and  the enchanting hoots. The prayer service favoured blessings for all the teachers. Every teacher was greeted by cards, flowers and gifts as a token of love and respect. Event was glorified by various games where  teachers had to be quick and lucky enough to win the prizes. This fun segment created a wanted hustle and bustle. The programme was further embraced by the beautiful dance performances, including those of little beauties of the school, a dance drama and a mesmerizing song for the teachers. It was God saying to the world-I LOVE YOU.” 14th September is a very auspicious day for the MSA Congregation as it is celebrated as the Feast Day of Mission Sisters of Ajmer Congregation. So in our school also it was celebrated as the Management Day. The programme commenced with a cordial welcome of our beloved Sisters with heavy applauds. Lighting a diya before a ceremony spreads divine grace. So the programme was lead off with kindling the lamp accompanied by the prayers,so as to seek wisdom from the Lord. In our prayers we expressed the gratefulness to the Almighty for the Sisters, since they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Prayers were offered to the Lord in the form of Prayer Dance asking for the showers of blessings on our diligent Sisters. LYNCHING IS AN INSULT TO HUMAN DIGNITY-ISHA TRIPATHI IX B Lynching is a premeditated extra-judicial killing by a group. In this the people react and give punishment themselves to the guilty without any legal permission from the government. It is often used to characterize informal public executions by a mob in order to punish an alleged transgressor, or to intimidate a group. It is an extreme form of informal group social control. In my opinion it should be considered  an act of terrorism and punishable offence by law. Yes, it is an insult to human dignity because lynching makes several tough walls between all castes and religions.  There have been different incidents of lynching in India recently where a mob killed a person in the name of punishment. Nobody can justify such acts of cruelty. Only the law and order of a country has the right to give justice to the victims. Lynching is actually killing of human right to live a life of freedom. On 14 July, our  English Club organized different activities for the Students.         SPEECH  COMPETITION was conducted for classes XI and XII. For class XII the topic for the competition was “ORGAN DONATION AFTER DEATH”. From each section four students from each houses were selected. The participants were able to convince to donate the organs after death as they are of no use after death and it could be life saving for someone else and also the need for organ donation needs to be sensitized among the public to increase the number of doners.        For class XI the topic was “TECHNOLOGY IS KILLING OUR PRODUCTIVITY”. The contenders explained that in this modern world, we are becoming machine dependent and hence don’t use our mind. Thus resulting in killing our creativity and productivity.         EXTEMPORE COMPETITION was conducted for classes IX and X. The topics were given on the spot  to the participants. It was to test their ability to express in good words and in a framed manner within a limited time.         POSTER MAKING COMPETITION was held for VI to VIII.
